cylinder 4 misfire

cel came on day before yesterday. had it scanned, and cylinder 4 is misfiring. new coil pack and wires needed? i think that will solve the problem? :dots:

yes, or if you bent the electrode on those new spark plugs while putting them in...pull the plug, check that first.

i went to vatozone today and opted to buy new spark plug wires instead of a coil pack in hopes that this would fix my problem. the guy gave me bosch wires # 09451. these are way way longer then my stock ones. anyone know if these cross reference to the correct ones? these new ones barely fit on top of the valve cover..

they probably gave you regular zetec wires...they are the ones that fit the Escort zetec as well, so they are longer...

those should work somewhat ok till your able to order a decent set of wires....when you get the new ones, just take the AZ ones back. I have the MSX90 setup with an MSD coil pack.
